We've already had young Peter trying to be Spiderman...I feel like that's a majority of the films.

So no one else wants a really young pete then? What's the point of that? I always feel like they've put him at a weird age in the movies(just leaving school, going into college) and I'd like to see a younger spider around 15 or so years old. Have him 1 or 2 years into his career as Spidey, street level, no main super villains yet, takes pictures of Spidey and sends gives them to the daily bugle to show the world "the spider-man". It would create a really cool dynamic having this kid standing along side a ww2 veteran, a "god", one of the smartest men on the planet(who Pete would probably be a fan of) and so on. You guys say he's been too young in previous movies. I don't think he's been young enough.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but give me 80's/90's Spidey!

You do know they're like 17-18 in the films...I don't see much of a difference between that and a 15-16 year old.

Established adult Pete, rather than barely reaching adulthood and the whole 'can he be Spidey and Peter'

I don't think there's much room for story/creativity if its a 15 year old kid.

More Ultimate Spider-Man comics in the films would be nice.

People want Logan Lerman for Spidey.
I can't wait for the Perks of Being A Wallflower and Spiderman crossover fics on Tumblr.

Pretty much everything after the Carnage intro story in The Amazing Spider-Man comics has either sucked, been boring, event bait, or was so horribly done that it ruined the character that they had to do a soft reboot. It's only improved thanks to Dan Slott's run.
Adult Pete is fine as long as they use the best sources.

I say no to Ultimate Spider-Man influence.
I have barely seen any Amazing influence for [jibber] sakes!
Also Ultimate screws with Villains too much...
Mysterious doesn't even have a fishbowl and done get me started on Shocker (a personal favorite villain of mine)

We've already tried the Ultimate route, no need to retread old ground. It makes as much sense as going back and drawing from the early Lee/Ditko stuff.

The villains shouldn't be toned down much either. The ridiculous costumes provides Spider-Man with his best one liners. I want to see Scorpion! Also as far as love interests go of they do another younger Pete I want to see him try and date Betty Brandt like he did in the 60s books. People forget she was his first gal pal
